Rare Alliance Greece

95 is a newly founded primary Association, based in Athens, whose vision is to support the Rare Patients of Greece. In particular, it is a result of the initiative of Patients and Parents of patients suffering from rare diseases, with a broad experience in asserting the rights of patients, on both national and European level.

The association’s founding members are trained representatives of the European Academy of Patients (EUPATI) and the Patients Academy of the European Organization for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS), while we are also members of EURORDIS and founding members of the Greek Patients Association.

The number “95”, the Association’s distinctive title, was chosen because it symbolises the percentage of rare diseases, for which no medical treatment has been found yet.
