Panhellenic Association for Prostate Cancer
Europa Uomo Hellas
Our Association was founded at the end of 2024 with the aim of serving as a point of reference for information, psychosocial support, empowerment, and reintegration of patients, while at the same time contributing to public awareness and the promotion of prevention through collaborations with scientific and social organizations. It is worth noting that we are a full member of Europa Uomo, the pan-European prostate cancer patient organization, as well as a regular member of ELLOK (Hellenic Cancer Federation).
Our participation in these bodies enables us to adopt best practices and contribute to the shaping of European health policies. Although our Association is newly established, it has already developed significant awareness-raising initiatives targeting the male population—and beyond—with the aim of promoting prostate cancer screening. Indicatively, a road race was organized with the support of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), dedicated to our Association.
We also participated with an information booth at the Greece Race for the Cure® 2025, and recently organized an Informational Seminar on the early diagnosis of prostate cancer, under the auspices of the Hellenic Urological Association, EOPE, and ELLOK, with the support of the Municipality of Zografou.
